My Story
Like many people facing chronic illness, I was told there was little that could be done beyond symptom management. I knew there had to be another way.
Rather than asking: "Why is this happening?" I began asking:
"What is my body trying to tell me?"
That question changed everything.
Learning to Listen to My Body
I began learning how to trust my body, listen to its messages, and understand what it needed in order thrive. This path led me to The Institute for the Psychology of Eating in the United States where I studied The Psychology of Eating, Mind-Body Nutrition, Dynamic Eating Psychology and Holistic Wellbeing Coaching.
Through my work with clients, I witnessed profound transformation. Yet I still felt there was something missing.
Today I am grateful to say that I have been free from Psoriatic Arthritis symptoms since 2019 and the psoriasis I was diagnosed with is now approximately 98% clear.
Every health journey is unique and there are never guarantees.
However, my experience taught me something powerful:
The body has an extraordinary capacity for healing when we create the right conditions for it to thrive.
That belief is at the heart of everything I do.
The Fermentation Journey
My introduction to fermentation began when I walked into
Feast of Eden owned by the renowned fermenter Michael Bird.
What began as a chance meeting soon developed into an internship, mentorship, and apprenticeship that transformed my understanding of nutrition, gut health, and the healing potential of fermented foods.
The more I learnt about gut health, the more everything connected: Digestion, Immunity, Inflammation, Mood, Energy and Long-term health.
The gut wasn’t simply part of the story it was often at the centre of it.
I discovered that fermentation transforms simple ingredients into living foods rich in flavour, diversity, and beneficial microorganisms.
The deeper I immersed myself in fermentation, the more I realised its extraordinary potential to support wellbeing.
What began as curiosity soon became a passion, and that passion developed into “cultured creations”..
